Whats Up This Week... It's Mashy! It's Spooky! It's FULL of Improv Class and... It's AWESOME!

What is UP this week at NCT? I am so glad you asked... because it just so happens that I have assembled all of that information for you RIGHT HERE!

We're starting the fun times early this week, with an exciting Instant Improv Class on TUESDAY night, we're keeping the Halloweenie-ness going with MashTerpiece Theater on Thursday, of course the weekend is full of super exciting Competitive Comedy and we ALSO have a Saturday Instant Improv class just for beginners looking to try improv out! 

You have probably heard up talking about Instant Improv Class. Each one is an individual, drop-in type improv class that has a specific theme or focus for that day and that day only. 

These classes are great for anyone whose thinking about trying improv comedy classes, but wants to be sure before making a big time and financial commitment OR folks who have taken some improv classes and want to continue learning, on a more flexible schedule!

The next Instant Improv Class we have coming up is on Tuesday October 20th
Editing Scenes with Style!
Transitioning from one scene to another can be an exciting opportunity. Where should the story go from here? Should the characters move to a different place? A different time? Should we interchange the characters or start from scratch?  This class will give you the tools you need to edit scenes with finesse and style!   

7:00pm- 9:00pm
$25 pre-register $30 at the door (5 person minimum participation)
Skill Level: All Skill Levels Invited, some scene work experience a plus

And then on Thursday we keep the fun going with Movie MashTerpiece Theater: 90s Horror Television
October 22nd 7:30pm $8 All Ages

 Its the best of the worst of 90s horror television this week at Movie MashTerpiece Theater!

The Horrorland Horrors want you to come out and play, but be careful... sometimes fun and games end up being more than you bargained for!

Did you LOVE the cheesy, awful awesomeness of 90s horror TV for kids? We did. We're talking Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark! But at Movie MashTerpiece Theatre, we don't just show you the lamest movies and TV of all time, we ENHANCE it! All NEW dialogue is create LIVE as the movie plays!

Competitive Comedy hits the NCT Phoenix Main Stage showings on Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th. 

Friday we have Heath, Alex, Andre, Anthony, Derrick, Gretchen and Ricky facing off in order to win your laugher and applause.

Saturday Chico, Andre, Anthony, Ellen, Heath, Paul and Ricky will be out to impress the audience with Josh up in the booth as Mr. Voice! 

After that, we have another Improv Class coming up... this one is SPECIFICALLY for folks who want an improv class taste test... the Pepsi Challenge of comedy if you will!

Saturday October 24th
Intro to Improv: Whats this All About?
Perhaps you have always wanted to take an improv comedy class… but just weren’t sure what its all about, how it all works or if it’s for you? This class is just for you! Test the waters in a fun, no pressure environment that will introduce you to the basics of improvisation and all that workshops and classes have to offer.
